David and Victoria Beckham Purchase Condo in One Thousand Museum Miami

Soccer superstar David Beckham and his fashion designer/former Spice Girl wife Victoria Beckham officially make Miami their home-away-from-home by purchasing a luxurious full-floor penthouse residence at the most iconic residential building in Downtown Miami, One Thousand Museum.

The Beckham’s expansive full-floor condo was listed for $20 Million and offers approximately 10,000 square feet of living space under air in addition to multiple private terraces offering spectacular views of Biscayne Bay, Museum Park and the Miami Beach skyline to the east and city views of Coconut Grove and Coral Gables to the west.

The luxury condo features a private elevator, 5 bedrooms, 6.5 spa-like bathrooms, in-home smart home automation by Crestron offering fully integrated lighting, A/C, audio, visual, security and window treatments, interior illumination features by Kreon and a custom European kitchen with custom cabinetry by Italian design firm Gatto Cucine, induction cooktop, integrated appliances by Gaggenau and Sub-Zero and fixtures by Dornbracht.

Other attractive features of this condo building that appealed to the Beckham’s was its innovative architectural design by the late, legendary architect Zaha Hadid, along with its privacy and location. And, I am sure the private helipad was quite an appealing amenity as well, especially since it’s the only residential helipad in the U.S., outside of Manhattan.

The power couple just closed on the unit last week although they have had the unit under contract for a few months. The duo, along with their 4 kids, will be spending a significant amount of time in Miami with the launch of Inter Miami CF, of which David is the President…couldn’t you just picture them flying by helicopter over to the stadium for a soccer match?
